Upper Intermediate B1.4 - Term 4, 2026

Teacher: Sophie Armes, Wednesday evenings 6:45-8:45pm.

This course requires approximately 5 years of previous French study. It is open to all students who completed our Intermediate B1.3 course in Term 3, 2026. New students should contact us before enrolling.

Students will study Unité 4 in the textbook Inspire 3:

                        Leçon 13 S’informer sur les loisirs (finding out about leisure activities)

                        Leçon 14 Découvrir un fait de société (discovering a social issue)

                        Leçon 15 Imaginer (Imagine, fiction)

The grammar component will include : si clauses, the conditional tense ; asking questions ; and negative forms, including ‘nobody’, ‘never’, ‘nothing’ and ‘neither … nor …’
