Meta Operations Conference II is a one day conference focused on the rapidly changing automation of business processes through AI agents followed by an optional day for workshops lead by key speakers. It is the second Metopcon event for 2026, the first ran at the National Press Club in Canberra in May 2026 with 27 attendees. We are targetting 75 delegates for Metopcon II.
Friday comprises nine sessions run from 09:00 to 17:00, with refreshments until 19:00. Sessions cover:
- AI agent managed software development lifecycle and self healing systems,
- How do we make AI deterministic
- Implementing ai in a sovereign Data centre
- Can we build frontier sovereign model capability
- Agentic business processes - moving beyond individual productivity
- Agentic cyber safety; and
- Modernisation of monolithic transaction processing systems.
Saturday is three workshops in rotation at the Region Media office, 09:00 to 15:00. The candidate topics are:
- Agent-driven development,
- AI within SaaS transaction processing, and
- Model-B Provable accuracy in policy and knowledge models.
Both days operate under the Chatham House Rule. Presenters are practitioners describing their own operations. Friday is recorded to produce a written summary, issued to attendees only, after which the recordings are destroyed.
