Development Drainage & Flood Assessment

Build practical confidence in reviewing and interpreting drainage and flood information as part of the development assessment process. This four-hour online course will help participants identify potential impacts on overland flow paths, surrounding properties, and existing Council drainage and road assets.

It also covers proposed floor levels, responses to identified flood risks, how to determine whether the information provided is sufficient, and when further assessment or specialist advice may be required.

No prior knowledge is needed, and participants will receive four CPD points. 

This four-hour course will be delivered online over two days in March 2027. Exact dates and session times will be confirmed.
