From Flood Risk to Flood Mitigation

Build practical confidence in moving from identified flood risk to appropriate, effective and achievable mitigation responses. This course explores structural and non-structural mitigation approaches, their benefits, limitations and trade-offs, and how feasibility, cost, risk and community outcomes can inform decision-making. Participants will also learn how different measures can work together as part of a broader flood management approach and when further investigation, modelling or specialist advice may be required.

No prior knowledge is required, and participants will receive four CPD points.
