Strategic Flood Management for Council Leaders

Build confidence in leading flood risk management, setting priorities and supporting informed strategic decisions across Council. Designed for Council leaders, this course explores how governance, accountability, risk, investment and community expectations come together at an organisational level. Participants will learn to understand and communicate flood risk and uncertainty, ask the right questions, make proportionate risk-based investment decisions, balance technical advice with organisational and community priorities, and build long-term flood management capability.

No prior knowledge is required, and participants will receive four CPD points.
