About

Sound therapy to quiet the mind, ease physical tension and support deep relaxation.

You don't have to do anything here. Just arrive, lie back, and let the sound do the rest.

About this session
The Restorative Sound Session is a considered group sound experience, held within Wild Rose Wellness and Psychology in Subiaco. It draws on principles of psychoacoustics and intentional sound work, offering a more structured and considered experience than a traditional sound bath: instruments are tuned to specific frequencies and played in a deliberate order, rather than freely improvised.

This session is a supportive space for anyone carrying everyday stress or mental overload, managing sensory overload, or simply craving permission to stop and reconnect with the body for an hour. No previous experience with sound therapy or meditation is needed. Many people describe leaving feeling calmer, lighter and more settled, though individual experiences naturally vary.

What to expect
Ambient background music sets the space from the moment you arrive. Layered over it, live sound moves through the room: Solfeggio-tuned tuning forks, tuned pipes and Himalayan singing bowls, each contributing their own resonant tone in a considered sequence with intention.

Before the sound begins, you'll be invited to set a personal intention for the session. This is entirely your own and doesn't need to be spoken aloud. If nothing comes to mind, a simple place to start is 'to receive for my highest good.'

From there, you'll lie back, fully clothed, on your own mat, and simply receive. There's nothing to do, follow or perform: the sound does the work, and your only task is to let your body settle at its own pace.

Before you arrive
Please arrive 5 to 7 minutes early so we can settle in together and begin promptly at 7:30pm. Latecomers may find it difficult to settle into the space once the session has begun, so a little extra time is genuinely worth it.

What to bring

  • A yoga mat
  • Something to rest your head on
  • A blanket or something to cover yourself with, if that helps you feel comfortable lying still for an hour
  • An eye mask, if you're sensitive to light. A limited number are available on the night if you don't have your own
  • A water bottle: staying hydrated before and after supports the experience
  • Comfortable, loose clothing. You'll be lying down for the full session, so ease of movement matters more than anything else

About your facilitator
Anna Bakulina is a Kyela Sound Therapy (ACST) Master Practitioner trained through the Australian College of Sound Therapy, working under her practice Mind and Soul Co. Her approach blends psychoacoustics with intentional, considered sound work. As a Kyela Sound Therapist, Anna sees her role not as a healer, but as a facilitator: using sound to support the body's own capacity to settle and rest.

'I see my role simply: to hold the space, and let the sound do the work.'

Health and safety
