Come join us for a relaxed Rainbow Families Pickleball Afternoon, a little bit of learning, a little friendly competition, and plenty of time for hanging out while the kids burn off some energy.

⏰ 2pm–4:30pm
📍 Courts at Aspley East State School
Entrance via Hopgood Street
🎟️ $15 per family
We’ve got six undercover pickleball courts for the afternoon. We’ll kick things off with a 30-minute guided lesson with a kids pickleball coach, who’ll teach us the rules, how to play and hopefully stop us from just wildly whacking balls at each other.
Then the courts are ours to have a go, play with the kids and enjoy some very low-stakes family competition.
And you definitely don’t have to spend the whole afternoon playing.
Bring a picnic rug and some snacks, find a spot to hang out between games and have a chat with other rainbow families. There’s also a playground available, so little ones who have absolutely no interest in pickleball are very well catered for too.
No pickleball experience needed. No need to be sporty. And as always, you’re completely welcome to come along even if you don’t know anyone yet.
Come as a family, come with friends or come meet some new ones.
