About
UNNIE is an award-winning pole artist, dancer, instructor and international judge with over 15 years of dance experience across ballet, contemporary and jazz.
Since beginning her pole journey in 2020, Unnie has quickly established herself within the competitive pole industry, with titles including Miss Pole Dance Australia 2024 Champion, Hardcore Semi-Pro 2024 Champion, Exotic Generation Floorwork Champion 2024, Exotic Generation Asia 2025 Hardstyle Champion, Virtual World Exotic Generation 2025 Floorwork Champion and Pole Icon Global 2026 Dance Icon Winner.
With a strong foundation in classical ballet and contemporary dance, Unnie later attended Brent Street’s Elite Performance full-time course on a half scholarship. Her movement style combines musicality, technique, floorwork, expression and dynamic performance quality.
Unnie Signature Pole Choreography | Saturday 3rd October at 5pm
This workshop focuses on bringing out your alter ego and learning how to embody it through movement. We’ll explore how to control stillness, presence and aura, while also mixing in the dynamic movements that I love to incorporate into my choreography.
A big focus will be on quality of movement and building strong foundations, so students can take what they learn and apply it to their own freestyle and personal movement style.
I also love incorporating foundational drills into the warm-up that directly connect to the choreography. These drills focus on things such as isolations, body flow and movement control, giving students tools they can continue practising beyond the workshop.
Unnie Signature Floorwork | Saturday 3rd October at 6:15pm
My floorwork style is heavily inspired by musicality, intricate movement and contrast. I love playing between detailed, dynamic movements and moments of stillness to create texture and presence.
The workshop will focus on understanding musicality, movement quality, transitions and how to use stillness intentionally rather than feeling like you always need to be moving. Students will also explore how to bring their own personality and interpretation into the choreography.
