About
ABSTRACT PAINTING: PLAY, FREEDOM & CURIOSITY
A two-hour introduction to abstract painting for complete beginners.
This workshop is about stepping away from the pressure to make something “good” and discovering what can happen when you simply begin.
Working on sheets of paper, we’ll explore colour, mark making, different tools, movement and intuitive painting.
You’ll be encouraged to experiment, make unexpected choices, follow your curiosity and respond to what is happening on the page rather than trying to plan the finished result.
There is no experience needed and no right or wrong way to do it.
Expect paint, movement, experimentation, a little mess, and plenty of freedom.
Come curious and see where abstract painting takes you.
Spots are limited! Tickets are in our bio!
This event is supported by SAUNDA through the SSAF and in partnership with the Notre Dame Sydney Performing Arts Club.
