About
When the sun goes down, the bowls light up!
Glo Bowls takes the familiar game of lawn bowls and gives it a colourful night-time twist. Watch your glow-in-the-dark bowl travel across the green as your friends call out where they think it will finish. One great shot can put you in front; the very next bowl can change everything.
You don’t need to have played before. When you arrive, we’ll welcome you, explain how the game works and help you get started. All bowls equipment is supplied.
The aim is simple: take turns rolling your bowls towards a small target called the jack. Get your bowl closer than the others to score. You’ll soon discover that sending a bowl exactly where you want it takes a little practice, and that an unexpected shot can sometimes be the best one of the night.
Bring your partner, round up your friends or come along with the family. You can enjoy some friendly competition or just have a go and see what happens. There’s time to learn, play, cheer each other on and laugh about the shots that didn’t quite go to plan.
