Nature Play Arts and Crafts School Holiday Workshop

Location
About
Join us for a fun filled creative Arts and Crafts afternoon using what we find in nature! Lets your little one’s imagination run wild with what animal, fairy, insect, person, mythical creature they could create!
Session is 1-3pm which includes half an hour to an hour to interact with our beautiful rescue animals, depending how long it takes for their creation to come alive!
If you have younger or older siblings not participating in the workshop but still want to explore the farm please bring along $10 for them. 1 adult supervisor and under 2 are free.
We will also be running an animal tour and free play session in the morning 10-12, if you’d like to join that too please purchase separate tickets.
Farm rules
We are 5 Balwina road Greenfields Mandurah. No parking allowed out the front sorry, council rules, so we ask people to enter the gate, drive all the way down the drive, left at the sheds around the back and we’ll show people where to park along the left tree line first then around the back if full.
Sign in sheet on the back table, please sign in for emergency purposes.
We do get snakes around so no going behind the avairies or where there is tin or long grass, they stick to themselves so just being mindful.
Portaloo near the ducks if people need the toilet or to wash hands. Extra hand washing and sanitising stations around the farm, please use after interacting with the animals.
Children must be supervised around the animals at all times. No picking up any animal without myself or a volunteer helping you.
Please be extremely mindful or little ones around the duck shell pools, they are open water spaces. Supervising your children at all times please.
Please no chasing the animals, as they are rescue animals some have had a hard start and please ask myself or one of our volunteers on the day if you want help picking up an animal. We will do a tour of all the animals and be able to hold them then too.
First aid kits on the back bbq next to the tea and coffee station, please let me know if anyone needs first aid as it needs to be recorded.
In case of emergency you will hear lots of whistles in a row, please stop what you are doing and meet at the front gate for a head count, if you can't get to the front gate please meet at the back fence at the gate in the middle
In light of the new Ecoli STEC cases in Victoria please take extra precautions for yours and your children hygiene safety. The prevention and safety advice is:
* Hand Hygiene: Wash hands thoroughly with soap and water after touching farm animals or visiting animal enclosures.
* Food and Dummies: Keep food, drinks, prams, toys, and pacifiers out of animal contact areas.
* Medical Action: Anyone showing severe gastrointestinal symptoms—especially bloody diarrhoea—should seek immediate medical evaluation and stool testing
Thank you for your patience and diligence adhering to the safety rules! We look forward to welcoming you all to the farm for a fun, animal filled day! Thank you for your support to our farm and animals, it really means the world to us XOX LDF 🦆
