This online webinar hosted by the Alfred Cancer Service is for current patients of Bayside Health Cancer Services and their families and carers. (This includes patients from Alfred, Peninsula and Gippsland/regional sites)
Join us for an informative session which is part of our holistic supportive cancer care program. Registration is essential.
Cancer treatment can affect your skin and quality of life. This session will give you practical advice to help you manage common skin and nail changes. during or after cancer treatment. Suitable for people undergoing different cancer treatments that can result in skin changes.
This may include chemotherapy, targeted therapies, immunotherapy and radiation therapy.
You will learn about:
• Managing itchy skin, red skin & uncomfortable rashes
• Sun care, sunscreens and sensitive skin
• Managing scars
