Young Adelaide Voices: Combined Festive Concert 2026

Be uplifted by the Young Adelaide Voices junior, senior, and community choirs coming together in song at YAV’s Combined Festive Concert!

After another year of exceptional experiences – including sold-out performances at Adelaide Festival with Stephanie Lake Company, a sold-out performance Adelaide Fringe, collaborating with the Inarma Choir, a tour to Geelong for ChoralFest, and all of our choirs performing during the Kodály National Conference – this is a concert not to miss for those new or familiar with YAV.

As voices rise and harmonies fill the iconic Elder Hall, our choristers will showcase their musical excellence throughout the performances for you – buoyant with the joy and connection they have built through music.

Bringing together our Junior, Intermediate, Second and First Concert Choirs, Aurora Vocal Ensemble, and a special performance by our Community Choir, this much-loved celebration is a highlight of the YAV year. Choristers of different ages and stages will stand side by side, creating something extraordinary as one musical community.

These choirs combine and feature a newly commissioned piece by Annie Kwok, and a new upper voice arrangement of Mistletoe Bird by Rachel Bruerville.

Travel with them through a vibrant program spanning pop, musical theatre and classical music, with a special celebration of Australian composers and festive music, new and classic. Every performance reflects the dedication, joy and care our choristers and artistic team have shared throughout the year.

Come and witness the powerful moment when many young voices become one and celebrate the friendships, community and love of singing that make YAV so special. This joyful celebration is designed for audiences of all ages. Watch this previous performance of Ding! Dong! Merrily On High for a taste of what’s to come!

Doors open at 3pm. Bring your gold coins to enjoy our popular bake sale and raffle.
