From Compliance to Culture: Leading Child Safe Schools

This Safeguarding Seminar with Halloran Morrisey Group is exclusive to AISACT member schools, to support School Executive and Leaders in leading child safe schools in an increasingly complex risk environment.

Under the expert guidance of leading safeguarding specialists, the Halloran Morrisey Group, by the end of this session, School Executives and Leaders should be able to:

- Identify cultural indicators of child-safe and non-child-safe schools

- Understand emerging safeguarding risks facing ACT Independent schools

- Recognise how leadership behaviours influence reporting, escalation and accountability

- Assess whether current systems provide evidence of culture, not just compliance

- Identify practical actions to strengthen child safety culture over the next 12 months.
