About

Established in 2008, the Australian Bachata Championship is the longest-running Bachata competition in the country, bringing together Australia’s Bachata dancers for an all out 2 days of Bachata goodness.

The event features:

7 Workshops: 2 led by international artist Samuel Funflow and 5 with premier local artists.
Friday 6th November: 1-on-1 Battles to kick off the competition.
Saturday 7th November: Jack & Jill Battles alongside a live Bachata mini concert.
2 Nights of Social Dancing: Party until late both nights with top DJs and the national dance community.

Anyone can join! First-release tickets are open now, prices go up mid-October. We cannot wait to see you there!
