WCEI NSW: Inside the Dorothea Mackellar Collection

We have a wonderful opportunity for a private viewing at the Mitchell Library, State Library of NSW, of selected collection items relating to the Mackellar family, including celebrated Australian poet Dorothea Mackellar. These rare items were offered to the Mitchell Library by the family for safe keeping, for future generations.

We are fortunate to offer this event thanks to the generosity of WCEI member Lyndal Hughes. Lyndal's mother, who met Dorothea and is custodian of her copyright, will join us from Queensland to share personal stories and memories of the family.

Following the viewing and storytelling, we will move to the Library Bar to enjoy drinks and canapes with a view of the city.

To ensure an engaging experience, places are limited to 25 people, so be quick to secure your spot.
