Harambee: Collective stories of Belonging
Join us for an immersive and participatory cultural experience celebrating identity, culture, belonging and connection.
Produced by Kwabo Events in collaboration with Ausdance Victoria, this special event brings together emerging creatives, artists, artworkers, students, industry professionals and community members for an pack day of creativity, conversation and connection.
Explore a participatory exhibition featuring new works from the Kwabo Creative Industries Incubator, alongside cultoral stories and photographies from 2025 participants. Take part in sensory and interactive experiences and contribute to the Kwabo Belonging Tree, share stories around food and culture, and discover the people and creative journeys behind the works.
The experience also includes a live performance bringing together returning and new artists, an artist conversation exploring the creative process and alumni participants' journey, shared food, networking, music and a DJ-led celebration.
Whether you are an artist, student, creative worker, industry professional, community member or simply curious to experience something different, come along, participate, connect and celebrate with us.
