The Boîte presents: Fligth at Bakehouse
FLIGHT returns for 2026, bringing together five distinctive artists for one night of live music at Bakehouse Studios’ Scrap Museum.
Presented by The Boîte, FLIGHT is a celebration of the extraordinary range of sounds, stories and cultures shaping Melbourne’s contemporary music scene. Moving through Latin and Afro-Cuban rhythms, R&B, folk, soul, electronic music, alt-pop, funk and more, this year’s line-up brings together artists with roots spanning Colombia, the Philippines, Argentina and Cuba.
The 2026 line-up features Ana España, Beloved Abe, Still Glow, Wichy de Vedado and CMeza.
Ana España is a Colombian-born bilingual singer-songwriter blending R&B and Latin influences, with songs in Spanish and English shaped by ethereal vocals, emotional storytelling and a touch of 90s and 2000s nostalgia.
Beloved Abe is a Filipino-Australian singer-songwriter whose soulful, stripped-back music draws from folk, world and country traditions, exploring family, culture, identity and the experience of finding home between two worlds.
Still Glow is the project of Argentine musician and producer Gastón Wendler, bringing together alt-rock, deep house and alternative pop through guitar, electric piano, electronic grooves and soulful vocals.
A pioneer of Cuba’s electronic music scene, Wichy de Vedado brings Afro-Cuban rhythms into conversation with deep and minimal house, jazz, rumba, mambo, funk and rap, drawing on a career that has taken him from Cuba to festivals, clubs and stages across Europe.
CMeza is a Colombian singer, drummer and producer whose music blends funk, soul, Latin rhythms, neo-soul and hip hop. Backed by a live band, his music is grounded in groove and storytelling, exploring migration, belonging, love and resilience.
