About

Join us for a full-day intensive Professional Development workshop for local and southeast creatives. This program supports professional skills and capacity development in creative project writing and funding submissions. The program will facilitate learnings and confidence in talking about creative practice, its purpose and impact, how to align with organisational strategic priorities, understanding AI as a tool, planning and writing project proposals (including budgets), and resources to funding opportunities.

This program is proudly co-presented by City of Monash, Greater Dandenong City Council, Cardinia Shire Council, City of Kingston, and Maroondah City Council.

About the facilitator: Industry expert and consultant, Gareth Hart, brings decades of knowledge and experience to the facilitation of this program. They have led organisations and initiatives that bridge local contexts with sector-wide trends, delivered ambitious programs that combined community engagement with artistic excellence, and directed live art festivals. Gareth brings clarity, ambition, and a belief in the transformative potential of the arts. They support organisations, festivals, and councils to navigate complexity, ground themselves in community, being driven my impact, and imagining bold futures.
