It’s that time of year again! Pacific Chamber Players are presenting another brilliant programme of unique Baroque music 2.30pm Saturday 22 November at Eudlo Memorial Hall. A delightful overture by Telemann opens the afternoon followed by the gallant Fasch Concerto in C minor for 2 oboes, bassoon and strings and the enlightening CPE Bach Sinfonia in C. Our bassoonist Neil Heymink will feature in Hertel’s Bassoon Concerto, an exciting and technically demanding work. Warren Brewer will feature in the regal Purcell’s Trumpet Sonata, and Sue Hunkin is looking forward to presenting JS Bach’s Concerto for Cor Anglais based on the Cantata BWV 54 "Widerstehe doch der Sunde", a definite highlight of the programme.
