About

Child of the Wild is an early-based lens of neuro diversity/divergence, encouraging a cultural perspective to deter deficit mindsets and create a healthy identity that’s full of possibility and potential through the eyes of Mother Earth. This webinar dives into how traditional and First Nation’s communities and cultures from around the globe understand, empathise with and support neuro diversity/divergence in order to recognise and scaffold their innate and organic skills that are aligned and necessary for the planets wellness. This webinar offers a metaphorical earthly lens through the language and knowledge of traditional Wurundjeri seasons to draw out our unique and instinctual attributes that ARE actually aligned with how to live well on this earth for ALL of its inhabitants. By doing so, we create meaningful and earth centred environments and systems for children to flourish and thrive to their full and unique potential - even if that’s simply to “be” who and what they are without labels and judgements !
Creates and facilitates by a neuro diverse/divergent mother of 2 ND kids who have struggles their whole lives with schools and systems, qualified and practicing Dance Movement Therapist & Transpersonal Counsellor with 20 years of experience across many areas of care including trauma, early years, homelessness, youth and more…
First born Australian, I come from multicultural background and feel the importance of allowing individual cultures also include their own lens and connections of neuro diversity/divergence within the ND uglier itself as therein lies a very important facet of ND that I feel goes too unnoticed - cellular memory and Tran generational wisdom, skills, knowledge and intelligence regarding earth care that we need so much, and aren’t getting enough of!
This webinar offers an opportunity to explore this and include it in our ongoing service as human beings of this earth, caring and supporting each other as the authentic beings that we are.
