About

This November, Make N Do draws inspiration from the Australian National Archives exhibition Focus: Australian Government Photographers, exploring how photography has documented Australia's changing social and cultural landscape.

Using smartphones, participants will experiment with camera settings, lighting, composition and editing techniques to take greater creative control of their images through hands-on exploration and shared learning. This Make N Do will take place at the Museum and we will go out into the nearby Civic precinct and harbourside – weather permitting.

Make N Do is a creative program for adults led by artist Ken O'Regan. Inspired by history, science and current exhibitions, each session encourages creativity, conversation and connection through guided activities and open-ended making.

• Thursday 5 November, 10:30am-12:30pm
• Thursday 12 November, 10:30am-12:30pm
