Living Yoga: Embodying the Yamas & Niyamas
Saturday 16th January 1:30 PM – 5:30 PM
Slow down. Soften. Return to yourself.
Most of yoga happens when we step off the yoga mat. Join us for a 4-hour half-day retreat with Gyani to embody yoga philosophy through a modern lens—experiencing, living, and feeling these timeless concepts in your daily life.
While often overlooked in modern yoga culture, the Yamas and Niyamas offer a powerful roadmap for personal growth, self-awareness, and inner peace. They form the ethical and philosophical foundation upon which all physical practices are built—guiding how we relate to the world (Yamas) and how we relate to ourselves (Niyamas).
This afternoon is entirely dedicated to practice, presence, and deep integration. We will drop into a heart space rather than understanding through our minds or intellect, allowing for a more revealing and deeper resonance. Give yourself the space to breathe, feel, and embody yoga's ancient wisdom.
Includes:
- Hatha Yoga – Move, feel, and open your body to cultivate awareness.
- Yin Yoga – Sink into stillness to notice and listen, revealing your inner wisdom.
- Pranayama – Connect to the breath to cultivate a deep presence.
- Yoga Nidra – Journey into rest and surrender for deep resonance.
- Guided Journaling & Reflection – Track your inner roadmap.
- Sound Journey – Ground and integrate the day's practices.
- Afternoon Tea & Sweet Treats – Share a mindful, sensory nourishment ritual.
Come as you are. Leave deeply integrated, with practical tools to live with deeper integrity, awareness, and balance.
