Enjoy a night of all that glitters at the 2023 Somerville House Ball
All Somerville House parents, friends, staff and Year 12 students and partners, are warmly invited to attend.
In addition to wonderful food and entertainment, the gala event offers a great opportunity for our school community to join together and celebrate in true Somerville spirit.

Booking information
Tables
Each table seats 10 people. Year 12 students and adults are seated separately.
Before making your booking, please organise a group of 10 or less and agree who will be listed as the Table Captain in your group's booking. If you are a parent, your Table Captain needs to be an adult. If you are a Grade 12 student, your Table Captain needs to be a student.
Should you wish to be placed on a table of your daughter's year level, please indicate the year level as your Table Captain on your booking. We make every attempt to accommodate all reasonable requests. If your table has less than 10 people, the Ball Committee may seat additional people with your group.
Alcohol service policy
Alcohol will not be served to any student or their partner, even if they are 18 years old.
Confirmation / Tickets
Confirmation of your booking is via email from Trybooking. There are no tickets issued and you do not need to print your confirmation email. Your table number will be printed on your name tag, available on the night at the registration tables. Please allow time for registration by arriving no later than 6.15pm.
Year 12 students attending without a parent
Please note Year 12 students must attend with a parent or a sponsor (another attending parent). The sponsor will be responsible for the student during the evening. Girls will receive a sponsorship form via email. This form must be completed and returned for approval by the Principal by 11 August 2023. Girls attending the ball without their parents are not placed on tables until they have submitted these completed forms. Please contact your Head of Year if you have any questions.
Student partner details
If required, a partner can be paid for with name and any dietary requirements to be advised. Please email the Ball Committee by 20 August 2023 with your partner's details.
Changes to ticket names
Please give the Ball Committee as much notice as possible. All ticket names will be fixed 48 hours before the Ball.
Payment by direct deposit
Please email the Ball Committee if you would like to pay for your tickets by direct deposit.
Refund policy
Full refund of the ticket prices will be given up until one month before the Ball date. Thereafter, refunds are at the discretion of the Ball Committee.
