This recital is dedicated to songs in English, in all their rich variety of mood and expression. From Maynard and Purcell to Britten and Walton, to Ives and Heggie, we’ll bring you songs from the bawdy to the beautiful, from reflective to romantic, with many moods and musical stories for your musical pleasure.
Featuring sopranos Emma Pettemerides and Carly Power, baritone Kristin Bowtell, with Marilyn Phillips, piano, Makoto Harris Takao, viola da gamba, and Aidan Deasy, lute.
