About

Under the direction of Anna Pope, Lumina Vocal Ensemble’s performance will take listeners on a journey through time, starting with an evocative Armenian piece from the 4th Century, moving through the earliest known piece of polyphony in the 10th century to the works of composers such as Machaut, Dunstable, Josquin, Monteverdi, Lotti and Brahms. One work from each of the past eleven centuries will be featured, ending with a brand new composition.
