A Fundraising Concert Featuring:
Spoken Word Poetry, Opera, Jazz,Contemporary Song and World Music with artwork from detained refugees.

Bringing together art, music, poetry and food to inspire conversations about the refugee experience, this promises to be an engaging and exciting evening not to be missed!
Tickets* : Adult: $35 per person
Group (10+): $30 per person
Concession
(Pensioners, Healthcare Card Holders,
Student Card Holders & Children U18 only**): $25 per person
**NB: Seniors Card holders and any another categories are not eligible for concessions
*Trybooking fee is an additional cost of $0.30 per ticket
100% of ticket sale proceeds go to the Human Rights Law Centre for the support of refugees and people seeking asylum.

6pm to 6.45pm: Pre-concert soiree (Church Hall)
*Exotic finger food for purchase provided by ASRC (Asylum Seeker Resource Centre) Catering Service
*Wine, Bubbly and Softdrinks for purchase
*Sale of Raffle tickets and Refugee Artworks
7.00pm to 9.00pm: Concert (Church building)
* Guest Speaker from HRLC : Dr Hugh de Kretser, Executive Director
*Performance
An eclectic mix of music, poetry, languages and cultures:
Tamiro Mavondo : Spoken Word poet
Lydia Sherren & Alison Jones: Opera Classics and other favourites
Fiona Scarlett : Jazz Classics
Saharnaz Kia & World Band : Dark Traditional Rock (in English and Farsi)
There will be a 15 minute interval included in the concert, with drinks on sale and winners of raffle announced.
Complimentary Tea and Coffee will be available in the Church Hall after the performance for the opportunity of more conversations.
