The Annual Dinner for the Jewish and Catholic Communities of Melbourne
At this year's annual Jewish and Catholic Friendship Dinner, besides enjoying good food, good wine and good company, we will address together an important issue facing all Australians drawing on the wisdom of our Hebrew ancestors in faith: "Strangers and Neighbours: Responding to Asylum Seekers". Our guest speakers will be Sr Brigid Arthur of the Brigidine Asylum Seekers Project and Rabbi Ralph Genende. There will be an opportunity to make a contribution to the work of the BASP in our local community
