About
This course is designed for those candidates who have been identified as Instructor Potential in ACTION™. Once successful in completion of this course, candidates progress to Instructor Candidate status where they will be required to instruct on two ACTION™ courses under the supervision of an established course Instructor.
This course addresses the following aspects of teaching:
- Adult Learning Styles
- Lesson and scenario planning
- Giving interactive lectures
- Providing feedback
- Use of demonstrations
- Practical skills teaching
- Use of role playing
- Supervision, feedback and assessment
- Managing the learner with difficulty
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
- Clinical Educator, or
- Successful completion of an ACTION™ course with recommendation as Instructor Potential
