8.45am - Nasendoscopy Workshop (Presenters - Dr Linda Beckmann & Marianne Moreau (Karl Storz))
- A practical workshop to perform and learn about the place of this simple bedside investigation in preoperative airway planning.
9.45am - Morning Tea Break
10.00am - Tracheostomy Troubleshooting Simulation Session (Presenter - Dr Kiron Chakrabarti)
- An immersive simulation-based tracheostomy troubleshooting session will help anaesthetists work through the uncomfortable clinical scenarios "when the tracheostomy goes bad".
12.15pm - Lunch Break
12.45pm - Difficult Airway Case Discussion Panel (Presenter - Dr Linda Beckmann & others TBD)
- A panel discussion session that focuses on complex airway cases linking clinical presentation with preoperative imaging and surgical requirements.
2.15pm - Afternoon Tea Break
2.30pm - Difficult Airway Simulation Session (Presenters - Dr Kersi Taraporewalla & Dr Stuart Blain)
- Another immersive simulation session focussed on difficult airway cases.
4.45pm - Course Summary
