About

We are thrilled to have the author of : I am Sasha in conversation with TBC. Selzer’s novel focuses on German-occupied Poland in 1942 where young boys are targeted by the Nazis. A remarkable mother takes an ingenious step. To avoid suspicion, she trains her son to be a girl: his clothing, voice, hair, manners and more. Together, they face incredible odds as their story sweeps backwards and forwards across occupied Europe.
