AETHYR is a journey through music of the spirit, breath, love, nature and new life. Commencing with music for the Easter season, the program explores aspects of human spirituality in relation to the natural world, including works in which, through the absence of text, the spirit of the music and the singers’ breath become more intimately connected than ever. Featuring music by Hildegard von Bingen, Gabrieli, Lassus, Stravinsky, Debussy, Takemitsu, Hindemith and Philip Murray.
