Funky, Over-The-Shoulder Bag Workshop - HANDS ON WORKSHOP
Join Melissa Min for the opportunity to come together as a group and create your very own funky over-the-shoulder bag.
Always wanted to hand stitch something of your very own but never been brave enough to begin? Come and give it a go!!
We’ll guide you step by step, in this easy process, to create a totally unique and original hand sewn bag from gorgeous recycled fabrics.
Beginners absolutely welcome, you’ll fall in love with this soulful and mindful way of stitching - and never look back. We’re passionate about the ‘Slow Sew’ movement and want to share it with the world! Join us!
You can enjoy a lovely nourishing light supper during the evening and endless cups of organic teas. Make new friends who have a Common Thread and leave with an amazing one off piece created by you!
Common Threads - Woven through Community is a month long community engagement project proudly brought to the Perth Hills following on from the world Fashion Revolution week in late April.
This exhibition includes topics of integrating sustainability, creativity, and traditional hand-crafted wisdom of the ages. These events are designed for you to leave feeling deeply inspired to become part of a brand new impulse of considerable change.
