Joseph A. Bessler is Professor of Theology at Phillips Theological Seminary in Tulsa, Oklahoma. In addition to teaching theology courses, Joe Bessler specialises in the interaction of religion and contemporary culture. He enjoys the challenge of opening up cross-disciplinary conversations that define theological questions in new ways. This presentation will share his interests in the intersection of the religious and the political which is of vital importance at this moment in history.
