About

This licence is a legal requirement when using a marine radio in Australia. This program is provided free of charge but there are costs for participants to the Australian Maritime Safety Authority (AMSA) in obtaining the Marine Radio Handbook and for producing the licence: Purchase the handbook ($15.50 plus $4.00 postage and handling) or read it online free of charge via www.amc.edu.au/industry/omc Pay $83 application fee to the licencing body on the day of the program (credit card required).
