2023 MICF 'ARGUING ON AIR' - By Two Stars Productions (SOLD OUT)
Location
About
Fresh from a stellar run at the Edinburgh and Adelaide Fringe Festivals, Two Stars Productions presents a raucous genre-bending comedy celebrating the heyday of the humble wireless.
Egos are forged in the crucible of the AM transmitter as talkback radio and theatrical stagecraft combine in this rollercoaster through time and sound. It's not all fun and fame though. Discover just how fragile a working relationship can be in a cut-throat media industry and what it takes to get a show back on track.
There'll be shouting, cursing, live talkback, celebrity scandals, interminable ad breaks and just like your favourite station back home: all the hits, all the time.
"...so monumentally misconceived that it exerts its own grim fascination" - The Scotsman.
*Venue - The Showroom
*Audience Rating: Recommended for audience aged 15+
*Accessibility: The venue is on level one and there is no wheelchair accessibility.
