About
Satellite Fingers is a captivating audiovisual project merging live instrumental music with responsive digital visuals.
Composed during Melbourne’s Lockdown, pianist Bernadette Butterworth returned to her native instrument and composed 8 neoclassical pieces that carried her through.
This led to the release of her first collection of piano pieces, Lockdown Melancholia I.
Joining from the UK is multi-instrumentalist Jessica Butterworth, who adds her new, mesmerising string arrangements. Satellite Fingers becomes a testament to the enduring musical bond between the sisters reunited.
Combined with digital visuals by MarkDat.Make, be transported by this evocative piano string duo set against a backdrop of projected moving images.
Justin Bailey is an experienced violinist busker who has performed at the Australian Open and TEDxMelbourne: The Great Unknown. He incorporates the looper into his arrangements, creating big, emotionally charged layered pieces.
