About
Please join us for the online launch of 'Welcome Neurokin, I am Autistic'; a book written by socially engaged Autistic author, Louise Cooper and illustrated by the Mount Alexander Autistic Community.
Louise will read her new book and then share information around how to use the book as a conversational prompt to get to know and increase access for Autistic people of all ages. The book is designed to promote self-reflection, self-knowledge and self-advocacy.
The book is suited to learning about respectful relationships in the classroom, or other group settings; as well as 1:1 with a parent, support worker, therapist or friend.
Louise Cooper is a late diagnosed Autistic mum with a graduate certificate in Autism Studies. Louise is the president of ARCANE Autistic-led not for profit, and founder of Australia's first neurodiversity arts festival.
