Protective Behaviours Universals Plus Training

[

This is your opportunity to be trained by internationally recognised trainers registered & endorsed by the PB Association.

Protective Behaviours is a skill applicable in all settings & all situations.

*If you have experienced protective behaviours as a set of rules we teach others, you will be excited by the opportunity to learn the skills &  strategies behind how those rules came about.

Your understanding & ability to assist others will grow exponentially.

If this is your first introduction to Protective Behaviours, there is no better way to learn than from those taught by the co-creators of Protective Behaviours.

We have received overwhelmingly positive feedback on the training & its plethora of applications.

This training is for all community Service Workers, Counselors, Social workers, Support Workers, Educators, Education Support Workers, Emergency Service workers, Volunteers, and Medical and detention staff.  If you work with vulnerable people, children or young people, this training is for you.

In these two full-day training sessions, you will learn the skills, strategies, and psychosocial framework to teach, role model, and facilitate opportunities to assist in your client group's personal safety, self-determination, and self-empowerment. As a PB practitioner, you will assist in developing connected, safer, and accountable individuals and communities.

The PB process is how you assist your clients in accessing their agency. It is a way to create a world that does not harm.

This is the only pathway in Western Australia to become a registered Protective Behaviours Practitioner and be eligible for membership with the PB Association. This course is a prerequisite for the Protective Beahviours Association,  Advanced Practitioner level and Trainer course
