About

Originally the British and American Hotel, Islay House was a coaching inn offering accommodation to miners travelling to Bendigo goldfields in the 1860s in Woodend Victoria. It has been owned by various families over the years but there are at least two female spirits that keep a watchful eye over their property. Let's connect history with the spirits as we investigate this building for the first time.
