In Last One Out, Jane Harper delivers another masterful Australian mystery – this time following a grieving mother willing to risk everything to uncover the truth about her missing son.
In the crumbling town of Carralon Ridge, Ro Crowley waits for her son on the night of his 21st birthday. But Sam never comes home. His footprints through the dust of abandoned houses are the only trace he leaves behind. Five years later, Ro returns for the annual memorial of his disappearance. The town is nearly empty now – but could its dwindling residents still hold the answers?
Join internationally bestselling author Jane Harper in conversation with Charlotte Guest, as she reflects on her extraordinary career, the inspiration behind this powerful standalone novel and what draws her time and again to the mysteries of remote Australia.
Book sales and author signings will be offered at this event.
