The ACA Ballina Chapter meets in person on the second Monday of each month.
Agenda: Building Better Relationships: Insights from Couples Counselling
Presented by Barbra Joffe
Barbra is a relationship therapist working with couples and individuals in the Northern Rivers region (out of Bangalow & Byron Bay). She is a registered ACA counsellor with a Masters of Counselling from Edith Cowan University. An advocate of learning the relational skills for building healthy relationships, she has trained in RLT (Relational Life Therapy); Imago Therapy; Hakomi for Couples (a somatic psychotherapy tool); Authentic Relating and has also undertaken some study in the Developmental model of relationships. She brings her own life experiences as a mother and partner, having navigated separation and union, motherhood and coparenting with blended families. She worked in Bali at The Place retreats offering counselling for therapeutic retreats, and runs 3 day personalised couples retreats in the Uki area of NSW.
