Early Career Teachers Retreat 12th & 13th August
All primary and secondary early career teachers in their first, second and third year of teaching are invited to attend the annual Early Career Teachers Retreat in Halls Gap on 12th and 13th August.
Content is scoped out on a three-year cycle, ensuring participants experience formation that differs each year. It is an extremely valuable opportunity for early career teachers to connect with others from around the diocese and, crucially, time to nurture and replenish their own spirits.
The retreat is an intentional, ongoing, and reflective process that focuses on individual growth and collaboration with other early-career teachers across the system. Focus will also be directed on engaging individuals' lived experiences, spirituality, theological understanding, vocational motivation and capabilities for mission and service in the Church and the world.
Each participant will also be able to earn 10 hours of TAP credit by attending this retreat.
To streamline the booking process and to make it simpler for schools, all costs for food and one night's accommodation have been included in the Trybooking link for the 12th (accommodation & lunch/dinner) & 13th August(breakfast & a takeaway lunch). This will avoid the need for each individual school or participant to book and pay for accommodation and breakfast.
We have a bulk accommodation booking arranged for our group; therefore, we need all bookings to take place on Trybooking asap This will allow the venue to release the rooms that we are not using.
*Please note: If your travel arrangements require additional overnight accommodation, please request that your school contact Pinnacle Holiday Lodge directly to make arrangements.
