HOBART GANG SHOW - Celebrating 50 years

Youth members from Scouts and Guides of Hobart and surrounding areas are looking forward to taking you on a fun filled journey for their annual production.  You will enjoy skits, songs and choreography - much of which is put together by youth members and other volunteers.   Some young adults have begun taking on areas of production as Hobart Gang Show continues to train the youth of Scouting and Guiding in all areas of the performing arts.  Once again, this year, Hobart Gang Show will be performing at Hobart College, Mt. Nelson Theatre.

HGS 2026 will showcase the amazing talent of all THE GANG, with skits, songs, choreography, sets, lighting and costumes as we take you on a two hour journey highlighting the 'Threads of Gold' from the five decades, to produce one dream.  

Performance dates and times ...  

• Thursday 17th September - (Opening Night - Please note all patrons must be seated by 7.15 p.m.)
• Friday 18th September - 7.30 p.m.
• Saturday 19th September (Matinee special for Joey/Cub/young Guides and others) - Note EARLIER START time of 1.30 p.m. 
• Saturday 19th September - 7.30 p.m. (Red Scarf Night) 
  Note there will be a few important presentations at the end of the final show, taking about 15 minutes.  We would love you to join us as we acknowledge achievements, but if you can't stay, that's fine - leave as you need.
• Extra note - as this is our 50th season, we are celebrating and showcasing those 'threads of gold' that have made up the 50 years.  Please be aware this means the show this year will be slightly longer than previous years.  

Ticket Prices ...

• Adults ... $28.00 (Early Bird = $25.00)
• Concession/Children/Red Scarf ... $20.00 (Early Bird = $18.00)
• Groups ... $15.00 each - minimum 10 tickets
• Saturday Matinee ... ALL TICKETS $20.00 (Early Bird = $18.00)
• Early bird = tickets purchased before 7th September, 2026
• Door Sales (available all performances) = Adults $30.00; Concession/Child/Red Scarf/Matinee = $20.00
• Note - the booking fee of $0.50 per seat for all performances is included above.
  There is also an option to buy tickets with a program (save paying at the door).  Present the appropriate '+program ticket' at the theatre to receive your pre-paid program.
