About
The Melton City Council Careers Expo has been running annually for 22 years and is hosted by Melton City Council Young Communities. The Careers Expo attracts a large number of local and state-wide education, training, and employment providers who exhibit their services to local young people.
This event is designed to inspire, engage and empower young people as they explore the many career pathways available to them. Rather than simply hearing about different professions, we would like to provide participants with the opportunity to experience through hands-on activities, interactive displays, and conversations with industry professionals. From emerging technologies and skilled trades to healthcare, creative industries and business, the expo showcases a wide range of exciting opportunities. Our goal is to help young people discover their interests, build confidence in their future choices, and leave with a greater understanding of the skills, education and experiences that can help them achieve their career aspirations. Whether they're planning their next step or just beginning to explore their options, this expo provides a fun, engaging and informative environment to spark curiosity and inspire future success.
