Join international and Australian speakers at this pivotal hour of Earth's history as they discuss crucial and relevant religious liberty and liberty of conscience issues from a Biblical perspective. Hear the stories of those who have stood for religious liberty and liberty of conscience under difficult circumstances. Meet others who have journeyed the same paths in search of religious liberty and liberty of conscience. Understand where this world is heading when it comes to issues of freedom and how to stand when your freedom is denied.
5 days, 4 nights, 20 inspiring presentations, 9 inspired speakers, fellowship with others who have stood the test of liberty of conscience and have been blessed by God.
All attendees need to book and pay via this website in advance. The venue charges for day visitors, and we will not be able to take payments at the venue.
Unfortunately, due to venue restrictions, we have a limit on how many we can cater for with food. We apologise for the inconvenience!

Accommodation is limited to 130 guests. Total attendees per day (inclusive of day visitors) is limited to 250 guests.

SPEAKERS & TOPICS
Jonathan Zirkle: He is a trial attorney and religious liberty advocate who currently resides in the United States of America. When he is not practising law, he serves as Vice President for Religious Liberty at the Liberty and Health Alliance and as CEO of Frontline Medics (frontlinemedics.org), which provides emergency services near the front lines of the war in Ukraine.
Jonathan will speak in 5 presentations. The topic of his series will be:
- Religious Liberty Then and Now: - lessons from the past, light for the present, courage for the future.
Immanuel Isaac: Immanuel is a gospel medical missionary, evangelist, and author based in the Dominican Republic. He is the author of the book, In Defense of Adventism: Righteousness by Faith. He has dedicated his life to proclaiming the message of righteousness by faith. He has travelled throughout the world preaching the everlasting gospel. He has also worked with people suffering from chronic diseases, including cancer, through medical missionary ministry. His passion is to combine Christ's healing ministry with proclaiming biblical truth. His mission is to prepare people for the soon return of Jesus Christ.
Immanuel is going to give two presentations:
- Righteousness by Faith made real: transforming righteousness by faith from a theoretical to a lived understanding;
- Youth with a sword: a rallying cry for the youth to be a part of the army of true liberty to finish the work.
Henk Viljoen: Henk founded the ‘SDAPEARL campaign’, a grassroots movement concerned with advocating for liberty in matters of conscience. He left a successful international career in banking to serve as a manager for a Christian ministry. He is happily married with four children. Currently residing in Australia, he and his family are originally from Namibia.
Henk’s two presentations will be:
- Joab, the hero in Israel: Legit hero, but a yes-man, capable of heinous crimes through zeal and misplaced loyalty;
- Asa, how it started, how it ended.
Joanna de Bruyn: Joanna has had a diverse career in ministry, human resource management and health. Like many others during the COVID period, she and her family were confronted with religious liberty issues in ways never before encountered. This thrust the entire family into a new life and new ministry. Joanna is the main speaker for an online YouTube ministry, ‘Elijahsloudcry’, and is the chief editor of Liberty Herald International. Daniel is her supportive husband who co-authored the book Captive Bride with Joanna, and together they have two spiritually-minded teenagers.
Joanna will be speaking on:
- Babylon's Poison & God's Antidote: They're not what we think;
- In the Wilderness: Preparing for the final assault;
Daniel de Bruyn: Daniel has been involved in medical missionary work, health evangelism, and worked as a physiotherapist for the last 26 years. He loves to share the truly liberating wholistic health plan that God has given and believes that it is worth standing for even if it means the loss of job, home, and much more. He is Joanna's husband and is excited by their two children, who love evangelism as much as he does.
Daniel will be taking two talks:
- Beyond Now: Shifting from dualism to wholism - the path to true liberty;
- Practical Home Remedies - Hydrotherapy - God's practical health remedies that enable you to treat yourself at home and minimise medications or hospitalisations.
Daniel will also run the morning exercise classes and provide lifestyle consults.
William Pitt: William is an adviser, consultant, teacher and thought leader in Constitutional Law, Business, Finance, Commercial and Administrative Law, as well as the legal doctrines of Originalism, Separation of Powers, Religious Liberty and the Rule of Law. As a Lecturer and Academic at Victoria University’s Faculty of Law, William has authored God, Caesar & The Great Controversy in The Australian Constitution as well as numerous other academic papers.
William's two presentations will be:
- Render Unto Caesar? Christ’s Framework for Good Governance: Church–State Separation: The theological and moral foundation for religious liberty;
- Section 116 and the Great Controversy in the Australian Constitution: Myth or Safeguard? a rigorous and insightful legal analysis of religious liberty under the Australian Constitution
Elvis Placer: Since December 2009, Elvis has been involved with the self-supporting ministry Remnant Ministries Australia (founded by the late Pastor Russell Standish in September 1992). For over sixteen years, he has served as speaker for Remnant Ministries and editor of 'The Remnant Herald.' Elvis has a very deep interest in religious liberty matters for many years, believing the great test of faith on this theme shall be answered in the future by the choices we make today.
Elvis Placer will be presenting:
- Conviction vs Preference
- Persecution vs Persuasion
- Divine Law vs Human Enactments
Each discussion addresses the pivotal moment when we allow one of the factors involved to influence our decisions on the testing questions of liberty, life, and faith.
Gary Christian: Gary has a theology degree and a Philosophy Master's, working as a minister before moving to the Australian welfare industry, where he worked as a centre manager and then senior manager for Mission Australia over a 12-year period. Moving to ADRA Australia, Gary initiated the National Program for ADRA Australia before semi-retiring in 2009. He writes occasionally for the US Spectator, Spectator Australia and Quadrant as well as various other conservative news outlets. Currently President of Drug Free Australia, an international drug advocacy organisation that is a thorn in the side of the United Nations’ drug control operations. Part of the Liberty & Health Oceania team.
Gary will be presenting one presentation:
- The Freedom to leave: The biblical foundations of freedom. It demonstrates that freedom is the essence of God’s interface with humankind.
Stephen de Bruyn: Stephen is a student of the Bible and history. He has travelled widely and been involved in ministry, including church planting, from Europe to Australia and South America, and includes the recent PNG for Christ. He was a medical laboratory technician until COVID. Since then, he has worked as a home handyman. He and his wife live in New South Wales with their two teenage children. He is Daniel de Bruyn's brother.
Stephen will be presenting:
- How the world went from pagan to Christian and back again: lessons for today's religious liberty movement.
