About the artists...
Originally from Newcastle, Ben Rowney is a Sydney-based alto saxophonist and composer currently studying at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music. Active across the jazz and funk scenes in both Sydney and Newcastle, Ben performs with his own projects as well as working extensively as a session musician.
Alex Minicozzi is a Sydney-based double bassist who recently relocated from Adelaide to study at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music. Since moving, he has continued to establish himself within Sydney’s vibrant music scene, performing across a diverse range of styles including jazz, indie rock, and contemporary music.
