About
The John Curtin Research Centre is delighted to announce the 2026 Curtin Oration, delivered by the Hon. Chris Bowen MP, Minister for Climate Change and Energy.
Held on the eve of COP31, this year's Oration will bookend the John Curtin Research Centre's Stronger Australia research and events program, bringing together the themes that have shaped our work throughout the year: national resilience, economic renewal, climate industrial capability and Australia's place in a rapidly changing world.
Hosted at Hay St Market by Doltone House, the evening will bring together leaders from government, industry, unions, academia and civil society to reflect on the opportunities and challenges facing Australia as it seeks to build a stronger economy, achieve the net zero transition and strengthen national prosperity in an increasingly uncertain global environment.
Join us for an evening of ideas, leadership and conversation!
