Story time with Renae Hayward (replaces Clay Meelyu)

Program update. Dr Holly Bradley can no longer join us for Clay Meelyu on Saturday 3 October. We're sending her our best and hope to welcome her back to AWESOME another time. In her place, Renae Hayward will present a story time.

Join WA author and poet Renae Hayward for a story time featuring her new picture book, Splish Splash Splosh!, and a behind-the-scenes look at how her books come about.

Renae is the author of the Say series (Say Hooray, Say Hello, and Say Goodnight) and has poems in the anthologies Right Way Down and If I Could Eat the Stars.

After book and poetry readings, Renae will take questions from the audience. Then it's over to the kids to get creative. Depending on who's in the room, that might be colouring and craft, or making poems with word magnets. Renae will shape the session to suit the kids on the day.

Note: Existing bookings for Clay Meelyu remain valid. If you'd prefer a refund or have questions about your booking, email us at ticketing@barkinggecko.com.au.
