A curated two-day ballet and contemporary intensive for dedicated dancers seeking to refine their technique, develop their artistry and gain insight into professional training and performance pathways.

Led by Krista King-Doherty & Juliet Doherty, the Auckland experience brings together masterclasses, individual feedback and mentorship in an environment designed to support the next generation of emerging artists.

EXPERT FACULTY

Krista King-Doherty
Internationally acclaimed teacher and award-winning choreographer whose students have earned top honours at Youth America Grand Prix for more than two decades. A four-time recipient of YAGP’s Outstanding Choreographer Award, Krista is widely respected for developing young dancers and guiding them toward international opportunities. As a sought-after coach, adjudicator and master teacher, she brings extensive expertise in technique, artistry, competition preparation and professional training pathways.

Juliet Doherty
Two-time Gold Medalist at the YAGP International Finals in both the Junior Women’s and Senior Women’s divisions, Juliet has built an international career across dance, film and education. She has performed at the Kennedy Center, Lincoln Center and Radio City Music Hall and starred in High Strung: Free Dance, Driven to Dance and The Red Shoes: Next Step. Most recently, she appeared in Ballerina, the fifth film in the John Wick franchise. Juliet teaches and choreographs internationally, bringing dancers firsthand insight into artistic development and the transition from student to professional artist.

Together, Krista and Juliet are committed to providing individualised guidance, meaningful mentorship and professional insight that extends beyond the studio — helping emerging artists develop the tools, confidence and understanding to take the next step in their training.
